Helping patients regain their strength and mobility, manage pain or adapt to a permanent disability.
Our highly trained physical therapy team is dedicated to maximizing independence for those requiring therapy. We provide a wide variety of rehabilitation services that help to restore function, regain strength and improve mobility, and manage pain. Our therapists also work with patients to adapt to permanent disabilities as a result of injury or disease.
Physical therapists use electrical stimulation, hot and cold therapy, massage, and other physical and electrical modalities to reduce pain and increase range of motion. They also teach mobility training using prostheses, wheelchairs, canes, crutches, and walkers.
Physical therapy is an appropriate intervention for cerebrovascular accidents, such as strokes, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, developmental delays, and other physician determined medical conditions.
